Yala-Collective


Under en längre tid har jag känt mig vilsen, har haft svårt för att hitta kraft och fokus. Sover dåligt och vaknar allt för ofta på morgonen med en orolig klump i magen. Axlarna har sakta men säkert krupit upp under öronen och det ena ryggskottet har avlöst det andra. Livet är lite som en berg-och-dal-bana, det är upp och det är ner och ibland är det tvära kast, då är det liksom bara att hänga med i svängarna så gott man kan. Men för att jag ska orka med krävs det att jag tar hand om mig själv och det gör jag på bästa sätt genom att praktissera min Yoga.


För att hitta tillbaka till min träning och inre balans checkade jag ut från livet som ensamstående 3 barns mamma och egenföretagare för att joina Yala-Collective för en återhämtande och regenererade vecka på den vackra ön Sifnos. Att få börja dagen med en timmes Pranayama i soluppgången är oslagbart!

Att vi sen hade lyxen att bo helt ensamma på det det charmiga boutiquehotellet Verina Astra var bara det i sig en upplevelse.



Inga långa mysiga sovmornar precis.. Det var tidiga morgnar innan solen gått upp och efter 3 timmars träning var det skönt att ta en powernap innan vår yogi-brunch serverades. Kolla in denna utsikten från vårt sovrumsfönster. Blått, blått blått… Bara utsikten var terapeutiskt i sig.



Vi var en grupp på 10 personer i olika åldrar från olika delar av världen. Jag älskar att få möjligheten att hänga med människor som jag annars aldrig hade fått någon djupare kontakt med, detta värdesätter jag högt!

 

När jag ser bilderna längtar tillbaka till den långa brunchen och den magiska utsikten under den sköna höstsolen.

Jag har provat de flesta yogastilarna men den första yogan jag kom i kontakt med när jag bodde i Rom var Ashtanga yoga och det var kärlek vid första ögonkastet. Det jag gillar mest med Ashtangan är att den är en väldigt meditativ och samtidigt fysiskt utmandande yoga.

I Mysore salen så gör alla sin egen serie i tystnad vilket blir väldigt meditativt och vackert. Detta gör också att man kan hitta sin egen takt och kan följa sitt eget andetag. Eftersom man gör samma sekvens varje dag så upplever jag också att det hjälper mig att lära känna min kropp på ett vackert sätt. Jag märker liksom subtila skillnader från dag till dag – ena dagen kan en position kännas skön och lätt att göra medan andra dagen kommer jag inte alls in i den. Det gäller att hitta ett neutralt sinne till dessa svajningar och acceptera var kroppen är just den dagen, den stunden.

Det här är andra gången jag åker på yogaretreat med Yala-Colletive, för ett par år sedan var jag på Glamping i Andalusien och det var där jag lärde känna Carolina.

Hon är inte bara en fantastisk lärare hon är också väldigt charmig och har aldrig långt till ett gott skratt.

Jag älskar meningsfulla resor. Resor som som blandar yoga och meditation tillsammans med lokal vegansk mat, kreativa workshops och när det finns tid för att upptäcka skönheten i landskapet runt omkring.
Att sen få dela veckan med fotografen som ligger bakom många av bilderna ovanför som också råkar vara den personen som jag gillar allra mest känns väldigt fint!

Ett stor tack Carolina, du hjälpte mig att hitta tillbaka till min styrka i Ashtangan och tack Francesca för att du introducerade Pranayama i mitt liv. Med lite tålamod och daglig övning är jag säker på att andningsövningarna kommer att hjälpa mig att hitta tillbaka till min balans. Namasté.

    Känslan man får av bilderna är ren magi…någon gång i mitt ska jag oxå försöka komma iväg på en sådan resa. Är även en ensamstående mamma till 5 barn varav mina 2 mista har en diagnos och ett nystartat företag.
